Sounds very similar to #1730 though not a duplicate maybe. Possibly same issue.
It sounds like there are still some cases where it is possible to become unable to login, but closing this one.
I can not replicate this any more by force closing client while zoning.
This is fixed right now and any new zoning issues can be a new issue.
