Happy to play with it more.
I no longer have an issue buying multiples of items from any of the Borealis Superior shops or from the 000 weapon shops. Buying Unique items from ships still works properly too.

My understanding of the bug is that if you equip a social weapon then unequip it, you are no longer able to attack unless you zone. This is still true.
