Reproduction steps

Go to newbie island (933.8 757.0 y 24.3 4582)
Complete Kill part of the quest line,
Talk to Brandon Thorn afterwards (Q5V8)
Get follow-up quest

Brandon Thorn: 
Now, this belt I have here is something I have found, not quite sure if it is of any use, but take it to Equipment Vendor Antonio Stacklund and he'll help identify it for you.
[DBG] Executing delay (1)
Brandon Thorn:  He has a few items for sale that you might be interested in too.
[DBG] Executing delay (1)
Brandon Thorn: 
Oh, and if you have any sizable monster parts, I would be interested in getting a few...

Expected results

Quest to show up in mission window

Actual results

Quest is active on character while not showing up in mission window

It's a part of the startup newbie questline and fairly early on you get into a state where you have a mission (that will grant a reward?) that doesn't show in your inventory. This one is a bit difficult for me to validate up against live.
