Reproduction steps

  1. .tp 237.0 315.3
  2. Save at insurance terminal
  3. Attack closest guard and wait to die
  4. Forever respawn and die.

Expected results

To respawn after dying and stay alive

Actual results

Death loop

Bug prevalence

Everytime if 1 GS open

The only way potentially around it is if you do .pf reset and it puts you into another GS and won't death loop you.

Was doing some more work on this one.

I died to a Reef Salamander in ICC Shuttleport .tp 718.8 710.4 y 22.4 4582

After respawning and being nowhere near the Salamander, the message

kept occurring.

When I went back near the Reef Salamander, it's health was low (see #1077 - honestly its almost certainly the same bug along with #1350)
It did not appear to attack my but I received message in combat log:
You were attacked with nanobots for 6 points of unknown damage.
You were attacked with nanobots for 73 points of unknown damage.

The second larger set of damage occurred after some time, where it appeared nothing was happening.

I had a GM char with me and was checking to see if there was anything obvious going. I checked npc hate and it was empty:
[Reef Salamander] Hated Targets:
.hate succeeded.

After the player died to the Salamander for the second time, the mob disappeared and there was no low health Salamander remaining.
