Possible to be perma locked out of account - Character does not disconnect #1496

Reproduction steps

Have high D/C prevalence
Try and fail to reconnect multiple times ( meaning you crash while loading in or crash immediately upon logging in)

Expected results

Able to log in

Actual results

Not able to log in for over 10 minutes

Description & Attachments

During what I assume is server instability (2 accounts having drastic disconnect issues, dropping multiple times within 10 minute intervals) I was unable to properly connect back into the game on one of the accounts. Other account remained mostly normal. During this time I tried to reconnect only to lag out either on the loading screen or immediately after connecting. After finally giving up on reconnecting I decided to restart my PC in case there was some issue with launcher. Upon trying to log back into account I am greeted with player still logged in. Persisted for over 10 minutes and could view my character on the /list of the zone. Never was able to log back in, gave up. Unsure how long player persisted in the playfield, some say he's still there to this day.

Character is Deepthought inside ToTW. Happened in the room after GoT while fighting Reverend Hyun.

I've been the victim of this myself multiple times. think we need to do some work on gathering these issues into one and detailing it better, but thanks for the report so far @boxcar87

I think this was the same as character d/c while zoning. Since the update tinker had made, which I presume is sort of an inactivity force boot, I have not been stuck like this. Not sure this is relevant anymore

This should be fixed now by closing client down and waiting for 60 seconds before attempting to log back in.
