Reproduction steps
A. Lots of mobs are already underground, you can be running along in Penumbra and just hear the battle music and start getting beat on for 2k dmg per hit by something you cant even see. I do not have the SL Penumbra mini-map enabling nano to check if all the red dot's for the mobs are actually there and are just hiding underground out of sight?
B. For example around the Heckler cliffs by "The Glacier" garden exit which are normally full of hecklers that people can party up and farm for exp look barren and empty only a handful are above ground that you can see.
C. The level 220 Notum Scourges are also very notorious for this behavior also it seems.
Lots of mobs in Penumbra end up underground with their heads popping out of the ground or just deep underground, seems like any mob that roams/walks around has a chance to fall through the ground in Penumbra.
In the picture i attached, it shows the highlighted "Ercorash" that i physically clicked on and 3 "Icy Shadow" nametags that i cant click nor hit "tab" to target them as if they were not in "Line of Sight" --- In this instance it seems like the frozen river is the Solid terrain and the snow covered banks on the side of the river are terrain that mobs can phase/fall through to the level of where the frozen river is.
Expected results
Penumbra is a very Hilly terrain, id expect mobs to stay on top of terrains but it seems they fall through the terrain to like a hard-set terrain base level that the hilly terrain was built on top of? Would love to see this fixed to bring some life to Penumbra for leveling content instead of the current meta of "go to penumbra farm your PB's for the symbs you need and never go back"
Actual results
Mob's are fighting dirty and playing peekaboo attacking you from underground and you're unable to fight back.
Bug prevalence
100% of the time in Penumbra. It's why people don't play there and prefer to level up on Adonis Hecklers because they don't bug out even tho the Exp rates dramatically drop off on them after level 160.
